Robert Allen “Bob” Burns III, 52, of Turk Lake, passed away Tuesday, March 7,
2005, at his home.  The son of Robert A. and Helen L. Martin Burns, he was born
on Aug. 26, 1953.

A graduate of Greenville High School, Bob worked most of his life as a
carpenter.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushrooming, and was always willing
to help his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Helen L. Burns of Greenville; his father, Robert
A. Burns II of Lake; three sister, Rebecah Benjamin of Grand Rapids, Sherry and
Lindon Buckley of Belding and Cathy Rush of Greenville; an uncle and two aunts,
Ridgeway and Sandy Burns, Sue Hoye; nine nieces and nephews, Lisa Bristol, Carl
Wise, Melissa Benjamin, Stephanie Ollson, Sherry Lynn Oetting, Terry Buckley,
Borden Buckley, Mindy Key, Heather Christensen; several great nieces and great
nephews; and many cousins and friends.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home,
511, S. Franklin St., Greenville, with a family prayer service at 8 p.m. 
Following cremation, final interment will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens,
Belding.
