                           EMMA V. BURNS

IONIA-Emma V.Burns, 75, of 630 Jones St. died late Tuesday evening at Belding 
Christian nursing  home.

She was born February 1, 1903, the daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Charles Morrow and 
married James W.Burns in Carson City February 6, 1923. He preceded her in death 
November 7, 1976.

Mrs.Burns lived her entire life in the Ionia and Saranac areas and was a member 
of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Rosary Circle.

Survivors include two sons, Owen of Grattan and lee V.of Glendale, California; 
one brother, Frank Morrow of Saginaw, three sisters, Charlotte Brown of 
Huntington Woods, Marie Matthies of Port Huron and Ann Herron of Pontiac; 15 
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass is Friday at 10 a.m. at SS.Peter & Paul church with Rev. Father 
Henry Dondzila officiating.

Burial is in Mt.Olivet cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 pm in the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Wednesday, 7 
to 9 p.m, and Thursday 2 to 4 p.m & 7 to 9.
