CARSON CITY- Robert James Burns, 72, of Hubbardston died Tuesday at Carson 
City hospital

He was born in North Plains township January 25, 1905, the son of James and 
Isabelle Burns.

Mr. Burns was a life-long Hubbardston area resident and was a retired 
employee of Motor Wheel in Lansing.

Survivors include his wife, Zona; five daughters, Christine Burns, Mrs. 
Nancy Speckin, Mrs. Patricia Gallagher and Mrs. Mary Esch of Hubbardston and 
Mrs. Judy Rockey of Fowler; two sons, Robert and Phillip of Hubbardston; 
three sisters, Mrs. Francis Hybargar and Mrs. Lucille McCormack of Lake 
Odessa and Helen Burns of Ann Arbor; two brothers, Donald of Florida and 
Ford of Carson City and 20 grandchildren. 

Services are Thursday at 10 am from St. Johns the Baptist church in 
Hubbardston with Rev. Father Eugene R. Fox officiating.

Burial is in the church cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 pm at the Schnepp funeral home.
