Ionia Daily Sentinel, 23 Jun 1944

Prayer services for the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burns, 502, East 
Lincoln avenue, who was dead at birth Thursday morning, June 22, at 7 o’clock in 
the Ionia County Memorial hospital, were held Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock 
in SS. Peter and Paul church.  Rev. Fr. John S. Fons officiated and burial was in 
Mt. Olivet cemetery.

The baby was their first child.  Mrs. Burns is the former Lila Mae Pomerville.
