She had been ill since Palm Sunday of last year when she fell and broke her hip. Born in Galesville, Wis., December 7, 1868, Mrs. Burridge was the daughter of George W. and Alice Gale. She married Charles Burridge December 24, 1898. The couple came to live in St. Johns in 1914 and moved to Ionia in 1924 where Mr. Burridge operated the Burridge studio until his death in 1947. She was a life member of the Queen Esther chapter of the Eastern Star and was a member of the White Shrine. She held a membership in the First Methodist church and was part of the Jeanette Howard Sunday school class. Survivors include two sons, John on Indianapolis, and Gale of Lansing; two grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Flora Smith and Mrs. Minnie Johns of California, and Mrs. Helen Kelsey of Minneapolis. Services will be held at the Boynton funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating. Temporary interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
