Mrs. C. M. Burris Passes, Friday

Resided On Farm Four Miles Northwest Of Collins Nearly Sixty Years.

Mrs. C. M. Burris, aged 66, passed away at her home, near Lyons, Friday.  She 
had been sick since last September.  The cause of her death was given as a 
general breakdown.

Mrs. Burris is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Byron L. Smith, 
of Lyons.  She is also survived by two brothers, William Croel and Henry Croel, 
of Ionia township.

With the exception of five years spent in Montcalm county she had lived for the 
past 60 years on the farm where her death occurred.  W. B. Stocum, who is a 
nephew of Mrs. Burris, attended the funeral which was held from the residence, 
Monday afternoon.
