The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, September 7, 1940

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Stone funeral 
home in Ionia for Mrs. Emma Burrows who died Wednesday morning in Grand 
Rapids.  Rev. Albert Telder of the Baptist church at Clare officiated.  
Interment was held at Highland Park cemetery. Bearers were Churchill Linfield, 
William Rose, Ralph Moore and Fred Martin.

Those attending the services from out-of-town were: Miss Blanch Lowes, Mrs. 
Ralph Smith, Mrs. Geo. D. Smith, Miss Marian Lowes, Miss Juliet Lowes, Mr. and 
Mrs. Churchill Linfield, Mr. and Mrs. William Hazlett and Mrs. William 
VanderVeer, all of Grand Rapids, and Rev. and Mrs. Albert Tedler, of Clare.
