The Ionia Sentinel, Thursday, January 18, 1900
Chas. H. Burrow died Thursday at his home on Yeomans street, at the age of 17 
years.  Funeral Saturday at 2 p.m. from the residence.  A brother died about a 
year ago.

The funeral of Charles H., son of Henry Burrows, was held Saturday afternoon 
at 2 o’clock, from the residence, Yeomans street, Rev. W. H.B. Urch, 
officiating.  At the grave Mr. Allured used the Voorhees lowering device, a 
new machine for lowering the casket into the grave.  With the aid of this the 
help of the bearers at the last resting place is dispensed with, and it worked 
perfectly.
