Ionia, May 4. – Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa M. Burt, who died yesterday at
the Soldiers’ home, Grand Rapids, will be held here tomorrow afternoon.  Mrs.
Burt was one of the originators of the Queen Esther chapter, Order of Eastern
Star, of this city and acted as first worthy matron during the first six months
before the charter was received.  Mr. and Mrs. Burt built the first house in the
west part of the city when it was annexed to the village many years ago.

[Transcriber Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried
in Highland Park Cemetery.]
