The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 27, 1943

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest Burt, 68, who died Saturday in the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Eustace Bowler, Belding, will be Tuesday morning at 9 
o’clock in St. Joseph’s Catholic church.  Burial will be in Belding cemetery.

Mrs. Burt had been long ill.  She is survived by her husband; two sons, Erwin 
and Edwin, both of Belding; two daughters, Mrs. Bowler and Mrs. Iolene West of 
Clinton, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Dan Quillan of Grand Rapids, Mrs. William 
Harris of South Bend, Ind.; a brother, Owen Byrne, of Belding; six 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
