Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Mar 1965

Funeral service for Bert Burton, 73, of 4 Marshall court, who died Tuesday 
morning at Belding hospital, was Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock.  The Rev. Ray 
R. Fassett of Zion Evangelical United Brethren church, officiated and interment 
was at Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were Kent Raymor, Maynard Moore, Jack Craven 
and Ronald Harris.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Williams of Belding, Mr. 
and Mrs. Maynard Moore and Brian of Saranac, John Gipson and children and Mrs. 
Mamie Allen of Matherton, Kathryn Traver, Dorothy Miller, Thrya Baker, Agnes 
Hahn and Daniel J. Stone, Lansing; Mrs. Gury Burton and mother of Detroit and 
Myron Palmer of Milbrook, Ala.
