Hasting's Reminder - Saturday May 6, 2023

                       Beatrice Marie Burton

Beatrice Marie Burton, age 78 of Lake Odessa, MI passed away on Saturday, April 
29, 2023.

Beatrice was born on July 16, 1944 in Hasting's, MI to Hubert and LaGreta 
(Russell) Ritenburgh. Bea loved spending time with friends and family, 
especially cooking and baking for them. Her pies and bread were the best, apple 
being her favorite. Her pets brought much joy to Bea's life.

Bea will be missed by her loving daughter, Joyce (Jimmie) Strickland; 
grandchildren, Samatha Myer and Corey (Sara) Smith; great grandson, DJ; 
siblings, Rose Rosquin and Robert "Weasel" Ritenburgh; boyfriend,Junior Wireman 
along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, daughter, Dorothy Ritenburgh, brothers, 
Jim Ritenburgh and Van Arthur Russell.

A Celebration of Bea's life is being planned for Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Koop's 
Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m.

Donations in Bea's name can be given to your local animal shelter.
