Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Nov. 20, 1961

LYONS- Funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. at Estep funeral home for 
Mrs. Louise A. Burtraw, 84, who died Friday afternoon at her Muir home. She 
had been ill a long time.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Rehfus of Muir, and with her 
husband, Frank, had operated a general store in Muir many years.



Mrs. Burtraw was a life member of Evergreen Chapter OES of Lyons.

Surviving besides her husband are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Florence Howard of 
St. Johns; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Bearers were Ross Confer, Wilbur Wiggins, Frank Esch, Max Reynolds, George 
Robertson and Max Strachan. Interment was at North Plains cemetery.
