Donald Eugene Bush, 73, of Belding, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 
Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.  Don was born September 9, 
1934, in Franklin County, Ohio, the son of Alden and Alma Crone Bush.

For many years Don worked in the tool and die industry and had owned Bush’s 
Fruit Farm south of Belding on Zahm Road for nearly 30 years.  He enjoyed 
fishing, golfing, hunting and spending time with his family.  Don was a 
longtime member of Belding Bible Church were he served as Sunday School 
teacher, deacon and song leader.  Don was a good Christian man who loved the 
Lord and encouraged others by word and deed to attend church and serve the 
Lord.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

He was married August 24, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to Shirley Rivers.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruth Faulkner; and brother-
in-law, Jesse Boyer.  He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Kim A. and 
Scott Medendorp of Bailey, Donald Alden Bush and fiancée Ronda Reickard of 
Belding; his grandchildren, Tasheena and Brent Williams, Naomi Hall, Breanna 
Hall, Garrett Hall, Jason Bush; his great-grandchildren, Chaya and Madison, and 
sister, Jane Boyer of Chillicothe, Ohio.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Belding Bible Church with Pastor 
Ken Martin officiating.  Interment will follow in River Ridge Cemetery.  The 
family will greet relatives and friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at 
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.  In lieu of flowers, memorial 
contributions may be made to Charles Stanley Ministries of Graham Ministries.
