EDSON BUSHNELL BURIED AT LAKESIDE Struggles Against Poor Health Many Years. Leaves Two daughters Besides Husband Mrs. Etta May Bushnell, wife of Edson Bushnell, who lived in Odessa township all her life, passed away Friday, March 10, after a brave struggle for health since January 4, when she was obliged to take to her bed. She was taken to a hospital in Grand Rapids and to Pennock hospital in Hastings for a trouble that could not be stayed. She was tenderly cared for during her two months illness by her daughter Lauretta, assisted by a sister of the deceases Mrs.Mary Alden of this place, and another daughter Miss Marian who teaches at Lowell. Mrs.Bushnell was born August 6, 1876. She was a graduate of Saranac high school. She was a member of the Congregational missionary Society, the Literary Club, and O.E.S. of Clarksville. The funeral was held at he home Monday afternoon. Rev. Bedell of Clarksville officiating. Burial was at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa. Beside the husband and two daughters she leaves an aged mother Mrs.Jeanette Hinderleider.
