She had suffered a fatal heart attack. Born October 9, 1901, in Lyons township she was the daughter of Jesse and Anna DeLaVernge Stiles and attended Spaulding and Lyons schools. January 30, 1919 she was married to Thomas Bushong of Lyons and they lived in the Pewamo and Lyons areas all their married lives. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Pewamo and its altar society and also belonged to Blue Star Mothers of Pewamo. Besides her husband, Thomas, she leaves two sons, Winthrop of Pewamo and William of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Werner of Ionia and Mrs. Ann Fehay of Muir; 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother, Howard Stiles of Ionia and two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Page of Lowell and Mrs. Bessie Patterson of Ionia. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic church of Pewamo. Monsignor Thomas Bolger will officiate and interment will be at St. Joseph cemetery. Rosary will be recited Friday and Sunday at 8 p.m. at Hull Memorial chapel in Muir.
