Born September 5, 1955 in Greenville, MI, daughter of Junior M. & Virginia (Byrne)Campbell. Kathryn was a life-long resident of the Belding area, having graduated from Belding High School Class of 1973. She worked at Electrolux in Greenville for more than 30 years & was a long-term & loyal employee of Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Belding. Kathy was know for her love for Elvis Presley. She visited Graceland last year & was an avid reader of books about his life. Kathy had a frank & candid personality & you always knew where she stood on issues. She was an avid sports fan when her children, AJ & Ricci participated in wrestling & softball, and interested in the Belding band program when Ricci was a member of the band's Color Guard. She loved working on puzzles, reading & canning. Sharing Jars of homemade pickles, beets, asparagus, her special brown bread or Chex mix. She took pride in helping others preparing meals & cleaning homes when needed. She lost her daughter, Richelle "Ricci" last December. Survived by her son Anthony "A.J."Buskirk of Belding, grandson Auston Hill of Gowen, son-in-law, Mark Hill of Gowen; brother Tom (Toni) Campbell of Grand Rapids & Joe Campbell of Belding, friends, John Flanigan, Stacey Smith & Hunter Flanigan, nieces, nephews & many friends far & near. A time to remember Kathy will be held Thursday, March 12 at 1p.m. at the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Time to meet with family & friends will preceded the service at 11 am. Following the service burial will take place at St.Patrick's Cemetery in Parnell next to her Mother. A luncheon will take place afterwards at Belding American Legion 203, 121 S.Broas Street. In lieu of flowers, Kathy would want you to donate to either the Ronald McDonald House or the Ashley Church Food Bank, two organizations that were special to her.
