Bussell, 67, of 587 Wall Street, Ionia, died late Thursday. He was born Feb. 17, 1918, in Carson City, the son of Eston and Bessie Cooper Bussell. He was married June 18, 1940, in Ionia to the former Shirley Belcher. She survives. Self-employed, he had owned and operated Bill Bussell and Sons Wrecker Service and auto repair service since 1960. He was a veteran of U.S. Army service during World War II. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, William Jr., Tony, Larry, and Barry; three grandchildren; his mother, Bessie Bussell; two brothers and two sisters and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Roetman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Ionia Area Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
