Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Mar 1938

Funeral services for Melvin L. Bussell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eston Bussell, of
South Ionia, were held from the Myers funeral home on East Main street Friday
afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, with the Rev. L.J. May, pastor of the Ionia Orthodox
Baptist church officiating.  Interment was in the family lot in the Balcom
cemetery.

Bearers were Howard Ralph, Arthur Ralph, Eugene Nenetz and Ira Hanline, all of
Ionia.
