Mrs. Edna Mae Bustance, 52, of Freeport, formerly of Lake Odessa area, died 
early Friday morning at Plainwell where she had been a patient for two weeks.  
She had been in ill health for several years.

Mrs. Bustance was born October 16, 1902 in Carlton township, Barry county, the 
daughter of Gara and Elizabeth Studt.  She was married to George Bustance 
December 14, 1923 and had spent most of her married life in the Freeport area.  
She is a member of Grace Brethren church on Vedder Road.

Survivors are her husband, George; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Workman of Delton 
and Mrs. Norma Fisher, of Wichita, Kan., one son, Richard, at home; her parents 
and one brother of Lake Odessa, Route 1; and four grandchildren.

The body reposes at the Beattie funeral home in Clarksville and will be taken 
to the Freeport Methodist church for the funeral at 2 o’clock Sunday 
afternoon.  The Rev. Robert Martin will officiate and interment will be at 
Freeport cemetery.
