                       WILLIAM T. BUSTANCE

SARANAC - William T. Bustance, 70, of Morrison Lake Gardens, Saranac, died 
Wednesday at his residence.

He was born Oct.30, 1915, in Clarksville, the son of William and May Leece  
Bustance.

He attended Clarksville schools.

He married Ruth Van Zytveld on July 2, 1938, in Detroit, and lived there for 10 
years before moving to Grand Rapids in 1948.

He was a salesman with the Keeler Company in Grand Rapids until his retirement 
in 1979, when he moved to Saranac.

He was a veteran of U.S. Navy in World War II.

He was a member of the West Berlin Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth' two sons, Thomas of Troy and William of Traverse 
City; two daughters, Mrs.James (Suzanne) Van Oosten of Lowell and Linda 
Wyskochil of Grand Rapids; 7 grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Dilley of Spring 
Lake; several nieces and nephews.

One brother, Samuel and twos sisters, Harriet and Josephine, preceded him in 
death.

Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery.

Memorial have been established for the Lupus and Emphysema Foundations.

The family will receive visitor on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p,m. and Friday from 
2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Clarksville.
