Ionia Sentinal Standard-Sat.Sept.5, 1964

BERNARD BUTKAW
LAKE ODESSA-Bernard Butkaw, 86, of 102 Brown street SW, Grand Rapids died late
Friday at St. Mary's hospital following a short illness. He had been a patient three days.

His wife, the former Ria Spindler of Woodland died in 1959. He had spent most of his
married life in Grand Rapids and was a retired employe of International Harvester
company.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

The body is at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa where service will be at 2
o'clock Sunday afternoon. the Rev. Charles Gibbs will officiate and interment will be at
Woodland Memorial cemetery.
