The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 23, 1951

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna A. Butler who died in Rochester, N.Y., Tuesday 
while visiting in Canandaigua, N.Y., were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the rural 
home of her daughter, Mr. Bert Houghton.  Dr. Howard A. Smith officiated.  
Interment was in Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were Lawrence Hoffman, Russell Houghton, Carl Seabrook, Spencer 
Seabrook, Leo Coulson and Leo Zanto.

Attending the services from away were O. C. Butler and Mr. and Mrs. Lester 
Butler of Canandaigua, N.Y., Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rich of Birmingham, Mr. and 
Mrs. M. S. Sanders, Richard Sanders, Miss Sandra Ely and Mrs. Maybe Butler of 
Detroit, Dr. Henry Dulker of Traverse City, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Rich and 
family of Livonia, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Houghton and Roy Nead of Grand Rapids, 
Francis Nielsen and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lincoln of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. 
Walter Steffensen and Mrs. Elmer Mortensen of Gowen, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence 
Larson of Sand Lake, Thomas Wackenow of Fremont, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Petersen of 
Sheridan, Lawrence Hoffman of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Seabrook of Lyons 
and Miss Sara Lindley of Orleans.
