The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, May 28, 1943
Monty Butler, 67, who had been ill at his home on Riverside Drive, South 
Ionia, since Sunday, died Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.  He had been an 
employee of the Ionia state hospital for many years.

The body was taken to the Myers funeral home, and funeral arrangements will be 
announced later.
