Services for Howard O. Butler, Ionia business man who died at his home 
Thursday, were conducted Saturday afternoon at Sumner Community church for 
the Rev. E. R. Potter of Alma assisted by the Rev. Jewell Bolejack of the 
Ionia Seventh Day Adventist church.

Mrs. Orlo Sias, soloist, was accompanied by Mrs. Hubert Hicks on the piano. 

The bearers, all cousins, were David Frye of Port Huron, Les Wilcox and 
Arthur Schoup of Muskegon, Walter Kneer of Ann Arbor and Claude Beck and 
Edward Helman of Alma.

Burial was in Sumner cemetery.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Lina King, Mr. Willet, 
Mrs. Midge Kline and Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bottomer of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. 
Raymond Thompson of Detroit and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Bolejack of Berrien 
Springs.
