Ionia Standard, 25 May 1906

Clifton W. Butman was instantly killed at Fulton, Ill., on May 7, by being
caught and whirled around a revolving shaft in stove works.  He was 21 years
old, and the youngest son of Mrs. William Butman.  His father was for years a
conductor on the D., L. & N. railroad, and married Miss Abbie Goodrich, then a
well known and popular young lady of this city.
