Judson Buttolph is Dead. Had been Ill Several Months. Judson Buttolph one of the old settlers of this township passed away at his home Tuesday. He had resided here nearly a half century and was a much respected citizen and neighbor. The deceased was 77 years old and has always led an active upright life. He was closely identified with the early religious work of the township and took considerable interest in church matters. He was a member of the Baptist denomination and funeral services over his remains will be held at his late residence, conducted by Rev. Horace N. Spear Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock. For the past 6 months he has been feeble in health being confined to his bed a portion of the time. He leaves besides his wife who is also in poor health two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Earle of Smyrna and Mrs. Jennie Nobles and two sons James of Spencer Mills and Henry Buttolph of this city. The interment will take place in the Smyrna cemetery.
