The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, June 24, 1972
Rev. Manuel Burtch and Rev. Joseph Nooms officiated at funeral services for 
Elmer Eugene Buxton Saturday at 2 p.m. at Free Methodist church, who died 
Thursday.  Organist was Mr. Hilda Hodgkins.  Interment was at Highland Park 
cemetery.

Bearers were Roger Preston, Gerald Zander, Michael Zander, William Zander, 
James Northrup and Eugene Buxton.

Arrangements were made by the Stone-Kauffman funeral home.
