                                  OBITUARY
Ella Maria Hinsdale was born in Dundee, Monroe County, Michigan, August 9,1847 
and departed this life, March 15, 1917 at the home of her daughter, Mrs George 
Bywater, 214 S.Hanover St., Hastings, Mich., aged 70 years, 7 months and 6 days. 
She was  united in marriage to James S.Buxton on the 22nd day of January, 1867. 
To this union were born eight children, three having preceded her to the Spirit 
world. She was converted early in life and joined the United Brethren church to 
which church she was loyal and devoted and died in triumphant faith in Christ as 
her personal Savior. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She leaves to 
mourn their loss a husband, five children, Mrs.George Bywater, her only son, 
Vern both of Hastings, Michigan, Mrs. Fred Einhardt, Mrs Earl Webb of Battle 
Creek,Mich., and Mrs will Woodard of Ionia, Mich., sixteen grandchildren and a 
number of minor relatives and friends. The funeral services were  held in the  
home of Mr and Mrs George Bywater at Hastings, conducted by the writer, 
Rev.J.L.Ickes.
