Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. December 28, 1939

FORMER L.O.RESIDENT DIED IN IONIA, FRIDAY
Leaves Two Daughters, Funeral Saturday at Wortley and Baine Funeral Home

George Bywater, a resident of Lake Odessa and vicinity many years, died Thursday 
at Ionia and the body was brought to Lake Odessa for burial Friday.

The funeral was held at the Wortley and Baine funeral home Saturday, the Rev. 
H.E.Kohn of Woodbury Evangelical church officiated, and burial was at Lakeside 
Cemetery.

Mr. Bywater was 76 years of age and leaves two daughters, Mrs. Hildreth Bates of 
Lake Odessa and Mrs Wayne Growell of Grand Rapids, and several grandchildren.
