Lake Odessa Scrapbook - October 1895

Thomas Bywater died at his home five miles out of the village Tuesday morning of 
Bright's disease. The deceased was born in Cayuga, CO., N.Y. Jan. 29th, 1813. The 
deceased had been married just 69 years the day of his death. He leaves a wife, 
four sons and four daughters; and a host of friends to mourn his loss. The 
funeral occurred yesterday at the U. B. Church, Rev. J. W. Miers officiating. It was 
the first funeral held in the U.B. Church.
