Lake Odessa Wave - Thursday June 23, 1960

   Florence Bywater Former Resident Dies

Florence E. Bywater, former resident in the vicinity of Lake Odessa passed away 
June 8, 1960 in Detroit at the age of 80. Her parents were Mr.and Mrs.Wm.Bywater, 
who were pioneer residents of Lake Odessa. She had lived in Detroit for over 
fifty years, having been a bookkeeper in various offices.She is survived by two 
sisters; Mrs.Addie Ryerson of Portland, Mich. and Mrs.Cora Hay of Grand 
Rapids,Mich. The funeral was  held on June 11 at the Neller Funeral Home in 
Portland with burial in Portland.
