The Carson City Gazette, January 27, 1905

Mike Cahalan, known better as wild Mike, was found dead in the back room of 
James Sammon’s saloon last Thursday where he had gone in to take a sleep.  
Funeral was held from St. Johns church, Tuesday.  The family have the sympathy 
of a large number of friends.
