                          Death of Dennis Cahalan
Hubbardston, Feb. 14. - (Regular Cor.) - Dennis Cahalan died Feb. 7, at his 
home in this village after a lingering illness of valvular heart disease. 
Mr. Cahalan was born in Ireland, March 20, 1822. In 1858 he was married and 
shortly after came to this country, locating in the state of N.Y. In the 
early sixties he came to this vicinity and commenced farming. 

He was the father of eight children, three of whom survive him, and also the 
wife. 

The funeral was held Friday at St. John's church.
