The Ionia Sentinel, Wednesday, April 22, 1914

Milton Cahoon, a one time resident of Prairie Creek, died April 16 at the home 
of his son, W. Casper Cahoon, Pine Bluff, Ark.  He moved from Prairie Creek to 
Walled Lake Oakland county about 15 years ago, where he was rural mail carrier 
until his health failed him.  Last fall he and his wife and daughter, Mrs. 
Mary Day, went to his son’s in Arkansas to make it their home.  He is survived 
by his wife, three sons and one daughter, who all reside in Pine Bluff.
