Cahoon, 69, 317 W. Ellis, died Saturday, Sept. 15 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lake Odessa, October 3, 1892 and lived here 45 years. Mr. Cahoon was a retired Consumers Powers employee where he worked 39 years. He was a World War I veteran; member of DAV and had been a member of the Belding Fire Department. He was a member of Local No. 261 AFL-CIC. He was married January 10, 1920 to Mabel Shores and she survives; also left is one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Hall, Greenville R.2; one son Donald of this city; three brothers, Jesse, of Lowell and Dewey and Eugene, Saranac and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home with Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial was in Otisco cemetery. Pall bearers were Wayne Elsea, Bob Howe, Roger Wright, Paul Midlam, Kenneth Byrne and Bud Alsgaard.
