Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Sep 1961

Service for Clayton L. Cahoon, 72, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Morris
funeral home.  He died at his home in Saranac Saturday.  He was born in Keene
township January 20, 1889.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; his father, Louis Cahoon of Saranac; two
daughters, Caroline Cahoon of Ionia, and Mrs. Clark Adams of Wacousta; three
sisters, Mrs. Ethel Johnson of Delaware, Ohio, Mrs. Ben Simmons of Dundee, and
Mrs. Edward Compagner of Saranac; three brothers, Corwin, Theron and Paul
Cahoon, all of Saranac; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Officiating will be the Rev. Howard E. Bull and burial will be at Saranac
cemetery.
