Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Aug. 23, 1976

Lowell - Jesse B. Cahoon, 89, of 82 Main St. died Saturday evening at Cherry 
Creek nursing home in Lowell.

He was born in Lake Odessa September 9, 1886, the son of Jesse and Barbara 
Blair Cahoon. 

Mr. Cahoon was a cutter at the Lowell sprayer plant and had lived in Lowell 
since 1919. He was a member of the Lowell United Methodist church and past 
secretary and treasurer of the church Sunday school.

His wife, Evalena preceded him in death in 1958.

Survivors include one son, Robert of Lowell, one daughter, Barbara J. Porter 
of Greenville, one brother, Eugene of Saranac, five grandchildren and two 
great grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday at 2 pm from the Roetman funeral home in Saranac with 
Rev. Dean Bailey of the United Methodist church of Lowell, officiating. 

Burial is in Saranac cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home to receive friends and relatives 
Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
