Sentinel-Standard - Monday, March 6, 1989

SARANAC- Jessie H. Cahoon, 96, of Saranac, died Saturday at Lowell Medical 
Care Facility.

Born in Boston Township Oct. 24, 1892, the daughter of James and Minnia 
Wedge Hatch. She was the great granddaughter of early Boston Township 
settlers Timothy and Rosinda White. She attended North Bell rural school and 
Saranac High School, and was married to Maurice Cahoon Oct. 20, 1914. He 
died March 30, 1939.

She was a member of South Boston Biible Chruch and Boston Extension Club.

Surviving are two sons, Lawrence Cahoon of Clarksville and James Cahoon of 
Lowell; a daughter, Anna Everett of Clarksville; five grandchildren; seven 
great grandchildren; and a sister, Bessie King of Saranac.

A brother, a son, and a daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from South Boston Bible 
Church, the Rev. Frank (Joe) Everett officiating.

Burial will be in South Boston Cemetery.

The family will be at Lake Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 
8:30 p.m.

A memorial for the South Boston Bible Church has been established in care of 
the funeral home.
