Cahoon, 77, of 8265 Potters road died Thursday morning at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Keene township August 9, 1893, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cahoon. He was a lifetime farmer and also veteran of World War I. Surviving besides his wife, Alma, are a daughter, Mrs. Jean Burton of route 2, Saranac; brother, Paul Cahoon of Saranac; three sisters, Mrs. Maxine Compagner of Saranac, Mrs. Lucy Simons of Dundee and Mrs. Ethel Johnson of Delaware, Ohio. Mr. Cahoon will be at his residence until noon Sunday when he will be taken to Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac for services at 2 p.m. Rev. Brian Davy will officiate and interment will be at Saranac cemetery.
