Marjory was born on April 24, 1927 in Greenville, the daughter of Victor and Thelma Dyke Poole. She graduated from Saranac High School with the Class of 1945 and later attended Davenport College for two years. She owned the Style Shop in Belding which had been in her family for over 70 years. Marjory was preceded by her parents, husband Donald Cahoon and a brother-in- law, Richard Christiansen. She is survived by her sisters, Sharon (Tom) Updike of Comstock Park and Virginia Christiansen of Caledonia; her nieces; nephews and long-time friend, Alison Compton and her family. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Madelyn Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Saranac Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice.
