Oh how complicated is Life, A link that binds us onto another; And now as one of those links had been severed by death: Let us weld the chain anew with our unstained love and devotion toward each other. Always remembering we are heirs of human frailty; And frail children of dust. And as the sheaves are gathered so we will be gathered in that higher and better world. Think to die is but to fall asleep And awake refreshed where the new morning light breaks. Weary toiler, thy work is done, Beautiful soul into Glory gone. BeautifulLife with its crown now won: God giveth rest. Rest, from all sorrows, watching and fears; Best from all possible sighing and tears; Rest, through God's wonderful ears. At home with the blest. It was so sudden, our white lips said, How we shall miss her, the precious dead; Who'll take the place of the mother that's gone? But, God knoweth best; We know he watches the sparrows fall, Hears the sad cry of the grieved heart that calls: Friends and children, he loveth them all. We can trust for the rest.
