Mrs. Fannie Caine, a life long resident of Ionia county, died at the family home, 30 1 ˝ West Washington street Wednesday morning at 5:45 after a short illness. Mrs. Caine had been in poor health for a number of years, and was taken worse last Sunday. Mrs. Caine, who was nearly 84 years of age, was born in Berlin township. She was united in marriage to Robert Caine, who died about 20 years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of the city for more than 60 years, and always attended regularly until her health failed her a few years ago. Mrs. Caine is survived by two children, Miss Addie Caine, who has always made her home with her mother, and William Caine, of Paw Paw, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The funeral will be held from the residence Friday morning at 10 o’clock. Rev. E.J. Kruse will conduct the service. Burial will take place in Oak Hill cemetery.
