Mrs. Bessie B. Cairns, 51, of 945 Maple, Lake Odessa, died Sunday afternoon at
Pennock Hospital in Hastings.  She was born June 26, 1930 in Lansing, the
daughter of Charles and Nellie Sheiloto Commins.  She moved to Lake Odessa in 1970.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; eight daughters: Kathy Walker, Melody
Cline, Beverley Orta and Norma Myers of Lansing; Stephanie Lang of Greenville;
Paulette Graham of Holt; Barbara Hammond of Levering; and Susan Reid of
Nashville.  Also three sons: Scott and Jeffrey Cline of Lansing; and Robert
Cairns of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri; her mother, Mrs. Nellie Commins of
Lansing; one brother, Charles Commins of Lansing, and 27 grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake
Odessa, with Pastor Lester DeGroot officiating.  Burial will be in Woodland
Memorial Park, Woodland.
