Mary Ernestine Calcott, 82, of Lake Odessa, died Sunday in Pennock Hospital,
Hastings.  Born March 23, 1905, in Campbell Township, she was the daughter of
Frederick and Martha White Hess, and was graduated from Clarksville High School
in the Class of 1922.

She was married to Harold J. Calcott Dec. 22, 1923, in Ionia.  He died Jan. 7,
1982.  They lived in Lansing before moving to Lake Odessa in 1951.  She was a
member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Lake Odessa.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Doris) Lambert of Lake Odessa; Marilyn
West and Lois Calcott of Lansing; a son, John, of Lake Odessa; 17 grandchildren
and 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma Garland of Totawa, N.J.,
Esther Birman of Everett, Wash., and Frances Anderson of Muskegon Heights.  A
son, Howard, and two brothers, Roland and Thane, and a sister Mildred preceded
her in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake
Odessa, the Rev. James Bozung officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
