MRS.HOWARD CALCUTT DIED EARLY WED. MORN
Leaves Husband and one Son. Funeral at the Home Friday

Mrs.Cora Belle Calcutt, wife of Howard Calcutt of Jordan Lake street passed away 
early Wednesday morning after a few days illness from appendicitis. It seems 
Mrs.Calcutt was taken very ill last week and was told she must undergo an 
operation but refused to submit to one and as a result the organ burst and 
poison from it resulted in her death.

The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Mrs.Calcutt has lived here since the death of her aunt Mrs.Lucreta Wilson in 
about 1926. She has been a good neighbor and friend and always seemed to enjoy 
her residence in Lake Odessa.

Besides her husband she leaves a son Harold and wife of Lansing and an uncle 
Porter Parker of this place.
