CALCUTT, RETIRED STEELWORKER, DIES IN LANSING. Howard L.Calcutt 73, retired steelworker, died early Saturday morning at Sparrow hospital, Lansing after being a patient there for the past ten days. Born in England January 1, 1876, he came to this country when four years of age with his parents John and Marian Lawton Calcott. He came to Lake Odessa in 1929 from Youngstown, Ohio following his retirement. His wife Belle died in 1936. Surviving are a son Howard J. Calcutt of Lansing, two sisters Mrs.Eva Reid, Melrose Park, Ill., and Mrs.C.C. Radcliff of Arizona; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 at the Pickens Chapel with burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev.F.Mohr officiated.
