Excerpts from Obituary:
RUTH IRENE CALLIHAN of Portland
Died October 23, 2016-age 96. 
Born January 20, 1920 in Alma, MI daughter of August and Bertha (Crossen) Ulrich.
Member of the Portland United Methodist Church 
Worked at the Portland District Library
Preceded in death by husband Charles C. Callihan, and grandson, Ian J. Render.
Survived by  three daughters, son, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Oct 27 at Portland united methodist
Church. 
by Pastor Letisha Bowman. Interment will follow at Portland cemetery.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m on Wednesday at the Lehman funeral Home,
Portland 
MI.. Also one hour prior to the service at the  Portland United Methodist Church.
