Ionia Daily Sentinel, 16 Jan 1906

Mrs. Sarah J. Callow, wife of James Callow, died at the family residence 511 
West Main street, at 5:30 Monday evening.  The funeral services will be held 
from the Church of Christ on Thursday afternoon, at two o’clock.  She was born 
in Devonshire, England, and would have been 73 years of age on the 8th day of 
February, had she lived.  She was married to Mr. Callow December 11, 1902.  She 
was a member of the Church of Christ and well known for her exemplary Christian 
character.  At the time of her marriage to Mr. Callow she was the widow of the 
late Duncan Robertson, of Ionia township.
