The Ionia Standard, Friday, October 15, 1915
Funeral services for Walter Callow were held Sat. afternoon at 2 o’clock at 
the home of his parents on East Main street.  Rev. A. R. Mitchell and Rev. C. 
E. Hoag officiated.  There was no music.  The bearers were James Bamborough, 
Fred Patrick, Lawrence Connor, Ralph Benedict, Joe Canfield and Leland Hicks.  
Interment was in Highland Park.  All the plans for the funeral were made by 
Walter last August, a letter giving directions for it having been found among 
his effects.  

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thomas of Saginaw, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Benton of Detroit, R. 
A. Thomas of Sturgeon Bay and James Bamborough of Kalamazoo were here to 
attuned the funeral.
